Crashes when importing keys

Trying to import keys and it just crashes repeatedly. Wasted $3.99.

Very good and useful!

This is an app that Ive been looking for! Ill give it five stars already. The developer has implemented my request for Dropbox uploads very quickly. Thanks! Thanks for the effort! Great app for a great price.

Does the job, could be better

The oPenGP app provides a basic method of handling PGP-encrypted emails on the iPad. I have had no problems with it in terms of what it is intended to do. There are a couple of features that I would like to see added, and each would be worth a star to me. First, while I appreciate the ability of the app to store my passphrase, I would prefer the option of setting a timeout for how long it is stored. The app currently supports only an "all or nothing" approach. Second, the app would be improved if it supported pictures that are included in MIME attachments. However, I can recommend it based on what it does.

Worth the investment

Good app that makes the intended tasks and smoothly works from iPad to Mac and vice-and-versa. The GU might be enhanced and its navigation somewhat streamlined. I will definitively welcome any enhanced features.

Works as advertised

Easy to install and set up by following the instructions. Works as advertised. Would be great if it was better integrated with mail, but under IOS restrictions I doubt they could ever make it so that you could read encrypted mail without sending it to another app. At least now I have a way to read and send encrypted email - yay!

Save your money

I tested the lite version - which worked and I subsequently downloaded the full version. That was a mistake. The full version doesnt work. My keys -that I successfully used with the lite version? They wont import in the full version. Save your money and purchase another app.

Barebones; does the job well

A stable app that handles the basic PGP-encrypted email workflow is a godsend on iOS. App has a bit of a learning curve, as most PGP-related software does. PGP/GPG is hard. Most users of the gnupg command line should be able to handle the export/import steps with ease. (Protip: when following the instructions, make sure you export in ASCII format and include the secret key before the public key.)

Supports 4k keys

Works great for encrypting messages and files. Pass code lock and pass code caching features are really helpful on small devices. Totally worth the price!

Great PGP solution

Does everything a PGP solution should do: encrypt/sign, decrypt/verify, and key management. The design is flexible enough that I can use PGP outside of emails (PGP-encrypted iMessage?). Great work!

Perfect application!

This app is great! I can encrypt text and files on the go, from my phone, without having to worry about compromising my security! Easy import/export of public keys, and easy import of my private key! Great job!

Good iOS PGP solution

I like that this app doesnt try to become your email client. Instead it makes it easy to open PGP encrypted .asc files and read them, write new messages and encrypt/sign them and then send via mail. Also happy that you can upload your secret key file without using the network in iTunes.

Works wonderfully

The app is really well done, and the workflow is excellent. Keys are easy to import and manage. Ive never had a single problem. My only small feature that I could request would be that because I use this mostly for email, a way to prefix lines with ">" or something to make it easy to quote text would be great.

Works Great!!

This is what I have needed. Uses my PGP keys exported from my old Windows machine. Will get desktop version for my Mac Pro. The only down side is the bright white screen. I have macular degeneration and my eyes are so sensitive to white screens. I wish there were a dark theme option. Still 5 stars. Just hope developer is listening

Crashes when import keys

Other than that I finally got it basically to work.

Excellent app!

The developer immediately replied to a request for help, and my user error was corrected. I use Dropbox to import the keys. Everything works just fine!

Love it. Open PGP is possibly the last bastion of privacy

While the NSA can use their unending budget and resources to decrypt anything that we the people have - open PGP will certainly cover you from police, the FBI, and your wife.

Works as advertised

Able to easily encrypt/sign/decrypt messages between friends and I.. The only problem is when importing keys it will sometimes freeze, however, if you restart the app it will usually import the keys without a problem.

It Works

Unlike many apps Ive bought, this one works every time, every feature, No exceptions. Im amazed that despite the disclosures of 100% email interception! most people dont bother to encrypt. For iPad, this app makes it easy. Existing keys can be imported. I really like the ability to draft, add attachments, sign and send an email from within the app itself. Very slick.

I want my money back!

App does not let you import your key!

Almost worthless app

I say "almost" because it seems to allow me to encrypt messages (though I had to figure out how to do this myself, as the "instructions" are completely worthless), which is why I generously gave it two stars. The app will not allow me to encrypt messages.
